A standard install is done in a single visit. The installer arrives, lays out tools, marks the cut, opens the deck, drops in the flashing kit, mounts the fan, seals the perimeter, and tests that the fan is spinning. Then they take the photo set and pack up.
You do not need to be home as long as the installer has clear access to your driveway and the side of the house. They do not need inside access for the fan itself.
Steep roofs, tile roofs, and very high two-story installs can run a bit longer because the setup and safety rigging take more time. The installer will let you know in advance if your roof is in that category.
We do not stack three jobs on top of yours. The crew shows up to do one install well, not to rush through yours on the way to the next one.
